Why do I need them out?
Pain is often the most common cause, as there may not be enough room for the wisdom tooth to come through properly. The wisdom tooth often just pokes through the gum or is so far back that it then gets infected because it cannot be cleaned well.
What will it cost me?

Impacted Wisdom Teeth
The highlighted teeth are the wisdom teeth, top and bottom jaw. You can see the lower teeth are growing toward the other teeth, which means there is no room for the tooth to grow.
An OPG x-ray like this will allow us to assess the direction of growth of the wisdom teeth and if they need to come out.
Solution
An assessment is done with a panoramic OPG x-ray that allows the clinician to measure the size and shape of your wisdom tooth in relation to your jaw and whether extracting the tooth or cleaning the gum infection is the best option for you.
Prescribing antibiotics alone will NOT fix the problem.
We have the facilities to do all wisdom tooth surgery, with more than 30 years’ experience and have extracted more than 50,000 wisdom teeth, either under local anaesthesia, IV sedation or oral sedation.
