Fillings
Fillings are used to repair decayed, broken, or chipped teeth. We only use top quality composite (white) fillings. Composite fillings are an easy, safe, and inexpensive solution when restoring a tooth.
Firstly, we will numb you up with a local anaesthetic to make you feel as comfortable as possible and to numb the area that is being worked on. Your dentist will then remove the decay from inside your tooth and then insert the filling material and set it with a curing light.
The dentist will then check your bite to ensure everything feels comfortable and smooth before you leave the practice and make any necessary adjustments. The cost of a filling can range between $156-$300 (before any health insurance rebate) depending on the location and the size of the restoration. Your dentist should be able to provide you with a more accurate estimate of cost once they have examined your teeth and x rays.
